The Lake District is one of my favourite corners of Britain. I’ve travelled here many times, both for work and for pleasure, and it’s somewhere I always look forward to going back to. There’s a sense of wildness here that’s hard to find in England. In fact, it probably has more in common with the Scottish Highlands, geographically and historically.

Here are a few recent Lake District images selected from my own travel library, which have been published in various places, online and in print.

If you’d like to use any of these images for publication, feel free to drop me a line, but please don’t use them without permission.
